Advanced Spanish is for fluent speakers, readers and writers of the language. We will explore various  Latin American writers and their styles. The literature includes short stories from Jorge Luis Borges, poetry from Pablo Neruda, plays by Federico Garcia Lorca and many more. The main emphasis is on reading comprehension and composition creation. Students will use advanced grammar skills to analyze and critique Latin American literature in writing and speaking on a complex level. This class also touches on Latin American history and its influence on authors and  their literature.
