I have 5 years of experience leading and participating in backcountry/wilderness groups performing trail maintenance and environmental education with the United States Forest Service (USFS); 5 years of experience as a mentor and tutor for peers and youth in both the high school and college setting; and 2 years of experience substitute-teaching for all grades and levels within the Whitefish, MT school district prior to working at Montana Academy. For the past 8 years, the majority of my work experience has involved group cooperation, management, and leadership, and through the USFS I received extensive training in the leadership of diverse peoples (age, background, ability etc).
